    FAQ

    Questions, gently answered

Everything you need to know about using the planner and journal.

    What is a self-care planner?

A self-care planner helps you choose small, intentional activities that support your wellbeing and keep track of them through the day. Instead of a long to-do list, it gives you a short, realistic set of caring actions.

How do I create a daily self-care routine?

Start small. Choose one goal, the amount of time you realistically have, and activities you enjoy. Use the planner to generate a short checklist, try it for a few days, and keep what feels good. Doing a little consistently matters more than doing a lot occasionally.

Is the MindWell Care planner free to use?

Yes. The planner, the daily activities and the journal on this page are free to use, and you don’t need to create an account.

How does the planner save my entries?

Your current checklist and journal entries are saved in your browser’s local storage on this device. They are not sent to us, synced across devices or encrypted. Clearing your browser data, using private browsing or switching to another device or browser means they won’t be available.

Does this planner replace professional mental health care?

No. MindWell Care offers general wellness ideas and is not a substitute for medical or mental health care. If you’re finding things hard, please speak with a doctor or qualified mental health professional. If you’re in crisis or feel unsafe, contact your local emergency services right away.
