Getting the most from it

Three gentle tips

  1. Breathe softly

Breathe in through your nose if you can. Let each breath be slow and easy, never forced.

  2. Follow the circle

Breathe in as it grows, pause while it rests, and breathe out as it shrinks.

  3. Make it a habit

A minute or two each day, like after waking or before bed, can be easier to keep up than long sessions.

Go at your own pace. If you feel dizzy, light-headed or uncomfortable, stop and breathe normally. If a rhythm feels too long, choose Calm or Balance. This exercise is a general wellness practice, not medical treatment. If you have a breathing or heart condition, check with a health professional first.
